2. How can I get my stationary products, forms and other items set-up for online ordering?

Contact your sales representative and let them know that you are interested in online ordering. They will guide you through the process of having your business cards, letterheads, envelopes, forms, marketing materials and other products available for online ordering.

3. Can you help me understand color?

Most print projects are created in 4-color process (CMYK) or as spot colors. Spot colors are individual colors that can be assigned a PMS (Pantone Matching System) number. Usually the colors used in the logo of a company are specific spot colors. Process colors refer to colors that are created by blending the four basic colors, Cyan (blue), Magenta (red) Yellow and Black, to create whatever colors you are using. Another common method of creating colors is RGB, this method is primarily used for creating web images.

4. What paper options do I have?

We have a wide range of papers available to print your projects on. What kind of paper you choose is determined by what your project is. Paper comes in several weights, colors, textures and styles. The five basic types of paper are:

Bond - usually used for letterheads, business forms, flyers and quick printing jobs.

Text - a higher quality sheet, used for letterheads, brochures, informational handouts and etc...

Uncoated Book - a very common sheet, used for business forms, inside pages of booklets, pamphlets and quick printing jobs.

Coated Book - a glossy sheet excellent for posters, catalog pages, high-quality flyers, brochures and other items.

Cover  - comes in coated or uncoated finishes and is perfect for business cards, book covers, postcards, table tents, menus, pocket folders and a wide array of other projects.

5. What is a “Proof” and why do I need to approve one?

A proof is our way of ensuring that we have set your type correctly and that everything is positioned according to your requirements. We recommend that you carefully look over every proof to ensure that our prepress department has completely understood and followed your directions for each job. Generally we will be able to email a PDF proof of your jobs that you can view and approve from your own computer. If color is very important to your project we will provide you with a color proof, output on our HP Indigo press. This is necessary because of wide differences in monitor calibrations, color laser printer output and our final output. You are also required to approve a proof if you bring your work in on disk. We do this because output devices handle digital information in their own unique way and we want to be sure that our output devices are handling your files correctly. When we can catch errors and output problems in the proofing stage instead of after the project is completed and delivered we prevent unnecessary aggravation and expense.

6. How do I request an estimate from you?

You can click here to go to our online estimate request form and our estimator will get back to you with an estimate. Otherwise, the best way to get an accurate estimate is to contact your sales representative and tell them exactly what you want. If you do not have a sales representative with B&C Inc. give us a call at 1-800-333-2820 or click here to email our Sales Manager, Michael Rutherford, who will assign someone to you.

7. How long does it take for you to complete my order?

That depends on what exactly you are ordering. After your proof has been approved we will be able to tell you when the job should be finished. We do our best to meet your time requirements and requests for priority processing.
